Southeast Texas is already seeing rainy and windy conditions as Delta heads for the coast on Friday

BEAUMONT, Texas — Parts of Southeast Texas remain in the cone of concern as Hurricane Delta heads toward the coastline on Friday. 

The 12News StormTrackers are closely watching the storm's track and intensity as it marches toward the area.

Jefferson County
Hurricane Warning

  • When: Friday
  • Rain: 2-5 inches
  • Storm surge: low impact (2-4 feet)
  • Winds: Hurricane force winds possible along coastal areas; tropical storm force winds likely with 40-55 mph sustained winds
  • Tornadoes: Low threat

  • Storm surge: low impact (1-3 feet)
  • Winds: Hurricane force wind gusts likely; sustained winds expected to be 40-50 mph
  • Tornadoes: Low threat
