The suspect has been taken into custody.
Officers say a man has barricaded himself inside of a house in the 2300 block of 13th Street in Port Arthur and is armed.
According to 12News crew on the scene, the suspect came out of the house peacefully and had no further incidents with authorities.
The suspect was booked into the Jefferson County Jail on for a parole violation.
