VIDOR, Texas — Vidor gets their shot on the big stage this Friday as the Pirates play host to District 12-5A-II leader Barbers Hill.
The Pirates (3-2, 2-1) are coming off tough 10-0 road win at Santa Fe, while the Eagles blanked Baytown Lee 28-0.
The Hill leads the all-time series with the black and gold (4-0) after last year's 49-34 win in Mont Belvieu.
Coach Jeff Mathews defense has been this tough this year, surrendering just 14 points an outing. They'll be tested by a Barbers Hill team that's averaging nearly 41 points an outing.
