Port Arthur Police asking for public's help to identify Walmart thief

The suspect is accused of a recent theft at the Port Arthur Walmart, where she allegedly stole the victim's wallet from her purse while she was looking away.

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — The Port Arthur Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a thief. 

The suspect is accused of a recent theft at the Port Arthur Walmart, where she allegedly stole the victim's wallet from her purse while she was looking away, according to PAPD.

Then using the victim's debit card, the suspect purchased two gift cards totaling nearly $1,000. 

Police are asking that if anyone has any information on this suspect that can help identify her, they are encouraged to contact Detective Brian Cater at 409-983-8623 or leave an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 833-TIPS.
