Jefferson County Deputies bust man, woman on meth charges

James Pruzek and Rhonda Bryan were both booked into the the Jefferson County Correctional center on drug charges according to a news release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

JEFFERSON COUNTY — Deputies have busted a man and woman with several ounces of crystal methamphetamine and two pounds of liquid meth.

James Pruzek and Rhonda Bryan were both booked into the the Jefferson County Correctional center on drug charges, according to a news release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

An investigation was ongoing in reference to meth being sold at 7064 Hillebrandt Road in Beaumont.

When officers executed the search, large amounts of methamphetamine were found in the toilet.

Officers also found several guns and stolen motorcycles, four wheelers, machinery and a trailer.

Pruzek and Bryan, who were occupants of the house, were taken into custody.

Pruzek was charged with possession of controlled Substance, tampering with evidence and possession of firearm by a felon, the release said.

Bryan was charged with possession of a controlled substance, according to the release.

The Jefferson County Narcotics Task Force and the Sheriff’s Swat Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 7064 Hillebrandt Rd. Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.

The Narcotics Task Force had been conducting an investigation in reference to methamphetamine being sold from inside the residence. The Task Force also received information that stolen property was inside the residence.

The SWAT Team secured the residence and the occupants. The occupants were identified as James Pruzek and Rhonda Bryan. The Detectives searched the residences and found a large amount of methamphetamine in the toilet. Three loaded handguns and one rifle were also found inside the residences.

In addition to the drugs and guns found inside the residence, two stolen motorcycles, a stolen utility trailer, a stolen four wheeler, and a stolen welding machine were found. There were also serial numbers that had been removed from a number of items as well. All the stolen items along with the ones with removed serial numbers were removed by the Auto Theft Task Force.

James Pruzek and Rhonda Bryan were transported to the Jefferson County Correctional facility. Pruzek was booked in for Possession of Controlled Substance, Tampering with evidence, and Possession of Firearm by a felon and Bryan was booked in for Possession of Controlled Substance.

A total of 6.37 ounces of Crystal Methamphetamine and 2 lbs. of Liquid Methamphetamine were seized from the residence.

The investigation on this residence was generated from concerned citizens making complaints and reporting suspicious activity.
