PARADE SCHEDULE: Multiple parades to roll through Beaumont for Mardi Gras Southeast Texas

The main parade route begins at the northwest corner of the Beaumont Civic Center on Main Street and heads north toward Crockett St.

BEAUMONT, Texas — There's at least one parade every day of Mardi Gras in Beaumont this year.

The main parade route begins at the northwest corner of the Beaumont Civic Center on Main Street and heads north to Crockett St and on to the Beaumont Event Centre before looping back to end at Edison Plaza.

The main parade route for the larger parades is about 1.3 miles and offers several spots to catch some Mardi Gras throws along the way.

 A fireworks show as well as a hot air balloon glow will happen on Friday and Saturday nights after the end of the main parades around 9 p.m.

Here's the main route for the larger parades...

  • Start on Main Street at Forsythe St at back of civic center
  • Head north on Main St (1,065 ft)
  • Left turn onto Crockett St (350 ft)
  • Left onto Pearl St (350 ft)
  • Right onto Bowie St (1800 ft)
  • Right onto Magnolia St (963 ft)
  • Right onto Laurel Ave - becomes Crockett St. at Orleans St. (2230 ft)
  • Cross Main St to end at Edison Plaza

Individual day tickets are available at the gate and in advance at area Market Basket stores. Thursday and Sunday tickets are $10 each. Friday and Saturday tickets are $15 each.

A  4-day pass is available in advance at Market Basket for $40 and offers a $10 savings.

A "Fun Pass" wristband good for a day of unlimited carnival rides is also available for $25 at the carnival or $20 in advance at Market Basket or online.

Individual tickets, the 4-day pass and the midway wristband are all available online but will have a service fee added.

Saturday Feb 22

  • 12 p.m. Gates open
    • Tickets @ Gate: $15
  • 2 p.m. Krewes Royalty March
    • Inside Festival Grounds
    • Starts at Neches St., travels down Crockett St ending at Laurel
  • 5:30 p.m. Motorcycle Showcase Parade
  • 6 p.m. Total Krewe of Aurora Grand Parade
    • Starts at Beaumont Civic Center, travels north down main Street to Crockett St to Bowie to Magnolia to Laurel ending at Edison Plaza.
  • 9 p.m. Hot-air Balloon  glow on the Great Lawn
  • 9 p.m./after parade ends – Fireworks
  • 12 a.m. Gates close
    • Kids Zone closes @ 6 p.m.

  • 2 p.m. Umbrella Brigade Parade
  • 3 p.m. Munchkin Parade
  • 4 p.m. ExxonMobil Motor Parade
    • Starts at Beaumont Civic Center, travels north down main Street to Crockett St to Bowie to Magnolia to Laurel ending at Edison Plaza.
    • Join the parade with required advance registration by Feb 14
    • Fee required to be in parade
  • 8 p.m. Gates close
    • Kids Zone closes @ 6 p.m.

Thursday Feb 20

  • 5 p.m. Gates open
    • Tickets @ Gate: $10
  • 6 p.m. Courir de Mardi Gras Parade
  • 10 p.m. Gates close
