NEDERLAND, Texas — Firefighters in Nederland are fighting a fire at an RV park along Twin City Highway.
Two recreational vehicles are burning at Jake's RV Park in the 2500 block of Twin City Hwy behind the former Jake's Firework Warehouse according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.
The fire has caused the closure of one southbound traffic lane along Twin City Highway according to the sheriff's office.
One person was taken to a Southeast Texas hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation according to a firefighter on the scene.
Heavy black smoke could be seen rising into the sky.
