Above-normal rainfall expected across SE Texas over the next week
Copious moisture, a weakness aloft, daytime heating and the sea breeze will all work together each afternoon to keep rain chances above normal. However, a tropical wave, currently in the Caribbean, is forecast to move into the NW Gulf of Mexico Friday and Saturday. This will bring enhanced rainfall to SE Texas.
