HARDIN COUNTY, Texas — Hardin County has put out a flood warning that is expected to last through Monday evening.
In a post on Facebook, Hardin County Emergency Management said that the warning comes in wake of a string of storms that is expected to hit deep Southeast Texas and Louisiana later tonight.
HCEM says that Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Northern Orange, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton and Tyler are all at risk of flooding due to excessive rainfall.
Low areas around creeks, rivers and bayous are especially at risk.
