Small plane crash expected to impact traffic Monday night on Hwy. 87 in Galveston County

No injuries were reported according to Sheriff Trochesset

GALVESTON COUNTY, Texas — A small plane crash on Hwy. 87 in Galveston County could impact traffic Monday evening, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

TxDOT shared a photo of the single-engine plane in the 1300 block of 87 on Bolivar Peninsula Monday night, asking drivers to be careful while traveling in that area.

Galveston County Sheriff Henry Trochesset told 12News he had not been notified about any injuries as of 9:45 p.m. Monday.
