BEAUMONT, Texas — Every school year we hear about teachers who go above and beyond for their students and this year the 12News Daybreak team needs your help to recognize some of our Southeast Texas educators.
We've created the 12News Golden Apple Awards to do just that during National Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6 - May 10, 2024.
During Teacher Appreciation Week we will honor five teachers who are making Southeast Texas shine.
However we need YOUR help to find these teachers, so tell us about that special teacher at your school or in you or your student's life.
We're collecting nominations between April 1 and April 19, 2024, so nominate a teacher now.
They can be a classroom school teacher, a bible school teacher, piano or music teacher or even a tutor.
We'll choose five teachers who've made a difference from your submissions and announce one daily during Teacher Appreciation Week on 12News Daybreak.
