BURNS, Ore. -- Jon Ritzheimer, the emotional, loquacious spokesman for armed militants who have taken over a federal wildlife refuge, posted a rant Tuesday on his Facebook page about people mailing sex toys to the group along with hate mail.

Shortly after they took over the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in remote Eastern Oregon, several members made a plea for supplies to be sent to them via general delivery to Burns. The packages have started arriving.

It's sad that there are people who would spend this kind of money on...

In it, he stands behind a table covered with parcels.

Pointing to one box, Ritzheimer says someone wasted $17 sending a parcel of "hateful stuff." He holds up a large sex toy, then admits as he holds up a bag of phallic candy that "this one was really funny."

He then returns to talking about the armed takeover.

"We’re not gonna let all your junk and hate-mail sidetrack us and we’re gonna continue to do what’s right for our country," he says."

Another video by Ritzheimer in the early days of the takeover also gained social media notice via the hashtag #DaddySworeAnOath. In it, he tearfully bids farewell to his wife and children while sitting in a pickup at the entrance to the refuge.
