HARDIN COUNTY, Texas — More rain and thunderstorms moved across Southeast Texas Sunday morning. Hardin County has several roads closed due to high water.
Several other roadways could potentially flood due to rain in the area.
Here's a list of current road closures throughout Hardin County:
- FM 418 - Kountze / Silsbee
- FM 327 - Kountze / Silsbee
- FM 1003 - Honey Island
- FM 787 - Saratoga / Thicket
- Gore Store Road - Silsbee / Village Mills
- McNeely Road - Kountze
- Outlaw Bend - Votaw
- Old Beaumont Hwy - Silsbee
- Village Creek Road - Silsbee
- Wingfield Road - Lumberton
If the road is not listed, but is covered in water, it's possibly not safe to cross due to waters rising quickly and swift, according to a release from Hardin County Emergency Management.
Officials want to remind drivers that if there's water on the roadway, turn around, don't drown.
