Orangefield ISD receives grant from International Paper for dyslexia, ESL course curriculum

The funds will be used to purchase items to enhance the curriculum in the Dyslexia and ESL classes, according to the Facebook post.

ORANGEFIELD, Texas — Orangefield Independent School District receives a grant from International Paper to buy curriculum items for Dyslexia and ESL classes. 

In a Facebook post, Orangefield Independent School District says they received the check in the amount of $3,544 on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 by International Paper employees, Curt Nelson, Sam Michael and Skylar Murphy who are also OISD alumnus. 

The funds will be used to purchase items to enhance the curriculum in the Dyslexia and ESL classes, according to the post. 

"Orangefield ISD appreciates the many contributions that International Paper has made to the success of our students over the years," they said on the Facebook post.
