PINE FOREST, Texas — At around 4 p.m. the Department of Public Safety responded to 3660 lake view cut off in Pine Forest, where a man reportedly sustained serious head injuries.
According to Captain Joey Jacobs, the ordeal started with a disturbance which lead to the man either being struck by or falling off of a car.
The man was air lifted from the scene with severe head injuries and is in serious condition according to fire personnel on scene.
The Department of Public Safety is currently investigating.
12News has reached out to DPS for more information, and is currently awaiting any updates on the man and his condition and what may have lead to the incident.
