PORT ARTHUR, Texas — A house fire in Port Arthur leaves 8 people without a home Saturday night.
Port Arthur firefighters went to a home after 11 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2023 located on the 4000 block of Lakeshore Drive and reported heavy smoke and lots of fire coming from the front and back of the house.
Port Arthur Fire Chief Gregory Benson said no one was home and no injuries were reported.
12 News spoke with the homeowner who said 8 people lived in the house and are currently displaced.
The Red Cross was contacted to reach out to the family.
At this time no determination was made on what caused the fire.
