ORANGE, Texas — Highway 62 southbound in Orange has closed following a collision between an 18-wheeler and a car.
The 18-wheeler was coming out of a truck stop when a car collided with it, according to a firefighter with Orange County Emergency District 4.
The car was stuck under the 18-wheeler with the driver stuck inside. Firefighters used the jaws of life to get the woman out of the car, the firefighter told 12News crew at the scene.
The woman was transported to a hospital, but did not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
The Texas Department of Transportation is investigating the crash.
