City of Port Arthur primary health care clinic to accept new patients

To be eligible, potential new patients must meet requirements.

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Some residents in Port Arthur and surrounding cities will be able to become new patients at a Port Arthur health care clinic. 

The City of Port Arthur Health Department announced that they are accepting new patients at their primary health care clinic. 

To be eligible, you must meet the requirements: 

  • Be a Texas Resident
  • Not have any insurance or Medicaid
  • Must meet the income requirements
  • Must qualify to receive WIC or SNAP

New patient services will include: 

  • Well-woman exams
  • Well-man exams
  • Lab work
  • X-rays
  • EKG
  • Pregnancy test
  • Sick visits

The clinic is located at 5860 9th Ave., entrance 7.
