A Beaumont man is in custody after police say he stabbed his wife numerous times.
Brandon Berry, 28, was arrested on the attempted murder charge and taken to the Jefferson County Jail.
Investigators say the stabbing happened Friday night just before 8 p.m. in the 5700 block of Nicole Ln.
The 27-year-old victim is in stable condition at Christus Southeast Texas Hospital St. Elizabeth.
Berry had fled the crime scene but was found and taken into custody in the 5400 block of Spencer Dr.
