PORT NECHES — Backpacks are listed among other banned items at Port-Neches Groves football games this season.
This is part of the district's new safety protocol. All personal items will be checked by security and outside food and drinks like sonic drinks and Yeti cups will not be allowed inside.
Attendees will be asked to form into four single-file lines when entering.
The ticket booth opens at 6 p.m. for security checks to help speed the process.
