Three men identified in Dollar General robbery

The search was called off due just before 11:30 p.m.Sunday night because the muddy conditions kept search dogs from finding the man according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

Jefferson and Hardin County deputies searched several hours for a suspect they believe to be armed following a robbery at the Dollar General in Bevil Oaks.

23-year-old Mario Hurtado, 21-year-old Shadric Deblan, and 23-year-old Christopher Henderson will all be charged with evading arrest.

The suspect that remains at large and is believed to be armed with a handgun is described as a young adult black male, medium height and build who was wearing a light gray beanie hat, a medium gray hoodie and black pants.

At about 8:30 p.m. Sunday two armed men robbed the Dollar General at 13462 Highway 105 in Bevil Oaks according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office.

The men fled in a dark colored newer model four-door car and fled west on Highway 105 toward Sour Lake deputies said.

Shortly after the robbery Sour Lake Police officers spotted the car on Highway 105 near Highway 326.

When they and Jefferson County deputies attempted to stop the car the driver led them on a brief chase according to the sheriff's office.

After the car went down a neighborhood road in Sour Lake and wrecked out four men ran from the car.

Deputies and officers were able to take three of the men, all from Harris County, into custody but the fourth got away.

Sour Lake Officers, Hardin and Jefferson County deputies set up a perimeter and were assisted by Beaumont Police K9 officers and the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office helicopter as they searched ofr the fourth suspect.

The three suspects in custody were transported to the Hardin County Jail. Investigators with the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office will be investigating the robbery.
