Port Arthur officers respond to Tuesday night shooting, victim not cooperating with investigation

Officers are looking at Ring security camera footage and other evidence, according to Chief Duriso.

PORT ARTHUR, Texas — The Port Arthur Police responded to reports of a non-fatal shooting that took place late Tuesday night. 

Officers went to the Port Arthur Townhomes located in the 3500 block of Turtle Creek Dr. after receiving a call about a shooting.

A victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 

The victim, who was not identified, is not cooperating with police, according to Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso. 

Officers say they are looking at Ring security camera footage and other evidence.

No other injuries were reported, according to police.
