BEAUMONT, Texas — A Beaumont teen, who is a convicted felon, has been sentenced to federal prison for having a gun in a social media post.
19-year-old Reginald Guillory, Jr. was sentenced to 51 months after pleading guilty to to being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to an Eastern District of Texas news release.
On July 3, 2022, Guillory was in a fight at an apartment complex in Beaumont that was posted on social media.
During the fight Guillory had a gun, which was seen in the post.
Officers recovered the gun and found that Guillory was a convicted felon and was prohibited by federal law from owning or possessing firearms or ammunition.
