BEAUMONT, Texas — Jeremiah Stewart is a meteorologist at 12News in Beaumont, Tx, specializing in weather forecasting and reporting.
He joined 12News in May 2023.
Stewart received his bachelor of science degree in Atmospheric Sciences from Texas A&M in College Station in May 2023.
He grew up in and graduated from high school in Crockett, about 130 miles northwest of Beaumont.
Stewart has has had a passion for meteorology for as long as he can remember and says he feels blessed to be able to communicate the weather to 12News viewers.
When he's not thinking about the weather, Stewart enjoys playing piano, playing basketball with friends and attending life group at his church.
"Family means everything to me," says Stewart who enjoys spending time them as much as possible.
Stewart is very familiar with Southeast Texas as his parents and many on his father's side of the family are in the area.
