GOFUNDME set up to help family who escaped Orangefield mobile home fire early Tuesday

None of the residents, who are being assisted by the Red Cross, were injured.

BRIDGE CITY, Texas — The residents of a mobile home in Orangefield escaped a fire without injury early Tuesday morning.

Firefighters with the Bridge City Fire Department were sent to the fire, at a mobile home along Herrington Rd., in Orangefield, early Tuesday morning, according to Elgin Browning of the Bridge City Fire Department.

A "warming fire" near a shed spread to the shed which was attached to the home causing the blaze according to Browning.

None of the residents, who are being assisted by the Red Cross, were injured he told 12News.

Firefighters from Orange County Emergency Service District One and the City of Orange Fire Department assisted in fighting the fire.

Members of the Groves Fire Department assisted by manning the Bridge City Fire Department station while it's firefighters fought the fire Browning said.
