BEAUMONT, Texas — The Beaumont location of Buckstin Brewing Company is now open after a year of construction.
The new restaurant is located in the West End on Phelan Boulevard. There's already a location on Boston Avenue in Nederland, but the owners told 12News in July 2023 that they wanted to expand.
"Buckstin has been around since 2019. We started in Nederland... Three months after the pandemic happened, we got closed down, we figured out how to can on our own, we sold to go food. And we really were just busting at the seams in Nederland. And we really wanted to target the Beaumont demographic. It's a huge market and people deserve to have Buckstin," said Manager Elisabeth Tatum.
So far, the business has had three soft openings, and the manager says everything went smoothly. 12News stopped by the grand opening during lunch.
They serve freshly brewed beers along with food including their signature pizzas, sandwiches and salads.
