The 12News Drone provides an overhead view of the Bolivar Lighthouse
The Bolivar Lighthouse, built in 1872 by the federal government, stands at about 117 feet tall near the western tip of the Bolivar Peninsula. The lighthouse, which is registered as a historical landmark by the Texas Historical Commission, is made of brick and covered in cast-iron plates which are riveted together.
