Canadian Cold Front Wednesday Evening in SE Texas

A Canadian cold front will arrive Wednesday Afternoon with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms. Breezy, cold, dry weather expected for Trick-or-Treaters Thursday Evening in SE Texas. The front will usher in the coldest weather of the season with below-normal temperatures expected through the weekend.

BEAUMONT, Texas — One more day of above-normal temperatures and humidity will come to a screeching halt Wednesday Evening as a strong cold front drives through SE Texas…

Cloudy skies and very mild temperatures are forecast across the area tonight with lows in the middle to upper 60s.  Rain chances will decrease later this evening.

However, afternoon/evening showers and thunderstorms are forecast due to a Canadian Cold Front by evening.  Regardless, afternoon high temperatures will rise into the upper 70’s to lower 80s.

Thursday will be chilly!  Areas of light rain and the 40s are expected to start the day off.  Then, temperatures will only rise into the lower to middle 50s. 

The Trick or Treat forecast looks Cold, Breezy and Dry with temperatures falling from the lower 50s at 5 pm into the lower/middle 40s by 9 pm.

Then, the coldest weather of the season moves into SE Texas Friday Morning through the weekend. 

Low temperatures will likely drop into the middle/upper 30s Friday Morning so, there could be patchy frost in the Lakes Area.  High temperatures will rise into the upper 50s/lower 60s Friday Afternoon.

Below-normal temperatures will persist through the weekend with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s.

Warmer weather returns by next Tuesday with a slight chance of showers.

Triangle Tonight:  Cloudy, warm, humid with a 20% coverage of showers.  Low near:  68° Beaumont, Low near:  66° Orange and Low near:  69° in Port Arthur.  Winds:  East becoming Southeast 2-10 mph.

Lakes Area Tonight:  Cloudy, warm, humid with a 50% coverage of showers and a few thundershowers.  Low near:  66°.  Winds:  East becoming Southeast 2-5 mph becoming Calm.

Triangle Wednesday:  Cloudy, warm and humid with a 70% coverage of showers and thunderstorms.  High near:  81° Beaumont, High near:  80° Orange and High near:  81° in Port Arthur.  Winds:  Southeast shifting Northwest 3-15 mph.

Lakes Area Wednesday:  Cloudy, warm and humid with a 70% coverage of showers and thunderstorms.  High near:  78°.  Winds:  Southeast shifting Northwest 3-15 mph.

Thursday (10/31):  0% coverage of morning showers, chilly and breezy becoming sunny.  Low near:  46°.  High near:  55°.  Winds:  Northwest 10-20 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

Friday (11/01):  Sunny, much cooler and dry.  Low near:  38°.  High near:  62°.  Winds:  Northeast becoming East 3-10 mph.

Saturday (11/02):  Mostly sunny, low humidity.  Low near:  43°.  High near:  65°.  Winds:  North 3-10 mph.

Sunday (11/03):  Mostly sunny, cool and dry.  Low near:  42°.  High near:  63°.  Winds:  Northeast becoming East 3-10 mph.

Monday (11/04):  Partly cloudy, warmer.  Low near:  47°.  High near:  68°.  Winds:  East becoming Southeast 4-12 mph. 

Tuesday (11/05):  Mostly cloudy, warm and humid with a 20% coverage of showers.  Low near:  58°.  High near:  76°.  Winds:  East becoming Southeast 3-10 mph.
