PORT ARTHUR, Texas — Two children and two adults were injured in a two car accident in Port Arthur Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. near Myers Auto Shop on Highway 365, Port Arthur Police Detective Mike Hebert said.
An 8-year-old boy is also listed in stable condition and a 4-year-old girl was taken to UTMB Galveston for head trauma and is listed in critical condition.
Two adults were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A family member who posted on Facebook that her fiance, son and daughter were involved in the wreck, and thanked the community for prayers.
She said her son has a broken collar bone and stitches in his head. She said her daughter is doing 'ok' and is stable and off the ventilator, with a large laceration.
She also said her fiance has a couple broken ribs and a 'non-threatening head injury.'
