No injuries after school bus involved in wreck along Highway 73 east of Winnie Tuesday morning

Photos appear to show that the bus was rear-ended by a pickup pulling a trailer.

WINNIE, Texas — Police are investigating after a Hamshire-Fannett Independent school District bus was involved in a wreck along Highway 73 Tuesday morning.

There were no injuries in the wreck including students on the bus according to HFISD superintendent Dr. Dwaine Augustine.

Photos provided uploaded via the 12News App appear to show that the bus was rear-ended by a pickup truck towing a flat bed trailer just east of Winnie on Highway 73.

All of the students on the bus have been transported to their campuses for classes Augustine told 12News.

The accident appeared to only involve the two vehicles.
