PNG outside hitter Kaitlyn Gil has been named the Wendy's 12Star Athlete of the Week.
Gil had 19 kills and 11 digs in the Rock-A-Noos 3-0 win over Nederland Saturday. Since then, PNG has beaten Memorial and Ozen to improve to 8-0 in district play.
