BEAUMONT, Texas — Former Ozen Head Football Coach Ed Taylor has died.
Beaumont United Head Football Coach Arthur Louis confirmed to 12News Taylor died on Sunday.
He was serving as Beaumont United's first assistant head coach.
Taylor was the head coach at Ozen in 2016 and 2017. He served as the eighth and final head coach at Ozen.
He was the offensive coordinator at Central the three previous years
Taylor was a 2000 graduate of Ozen.
The reason for his death has not yet been released.
