Beaumont Central's PJ Locke, III will get his shot to play in the NFL after signing an undrafted free agent deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers this afternoon.
The former Texas Longhorn becomes the third football player from the 409 to get their shot at playing on the highest level in the last three days. Over the weekend West Orange-Stark's Deionte Thompson and Ozen's Rodney Randle, Jr. saw their dreams come true. Thompson was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals while Randle signed as an undrafted free agent with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Locke, a 5-10, 210 pound defensive back, had a career high 77 tackles in his final season in Austin with one interception.
