VIDOR — No one was injured Monday morning in Vidor after a train derailed near the intersection of North Main and Highway 90.

Four rail cars overturned around 6:30 a.m. Monday on the tracks not far from Mutt & Jeff’s in Vidor.

Vidor Police chief Rod Carroll said the cars were carrying grain and no hazardous materials were involved. Chief Carroll also said there were no injuries.

Railroad officials are bringing in equipment to clear the cars from the track. The process is expected to take several hours.
