WALLISVILLE, Texas — The Chambers County Sheriff's Office says the who has been missing since Monday is back home with family.

Michael Wayne Pate, 40, was reunited with his family on Saturday. 

On its Facebook page, The sheriff's office adds, they are grateful to the public's help in searching for this man and thankful for a positive outcome.


The Chambers County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing person. 

Michael Wayne Pate, 40, was last seen by his family around 11:50 a.m. April 22 in Wallisville, the sheriff's office said in a Facebook post. 

Pate was driving his white 2005 Toyota Tundra truck, license plate number KFL-1561. He was wearing a black t-shirt, red basketball shorts, black socks and white tennis shoes. 

He is a white man with brown hair, hazel eyes, 5 ft. 7 in. tall, and weighs 180 pounds.

Pate was reported missing to the sheriff's office just before 8 p.m. April 23.
