BEAUMONT, Texas — Sunday marked the final day of the YMBL South Texas State Fair. Despite the cold temperatures, thousands were in attendance to make the end of another fair season.

YMBL 2019 President, Donnie Warner, tells 12News that the fair set attendance records on a couple days during the 11 day event. Final attendance numbers will be released later on in the week.

Warner believes that this year has been a success, due to the weather.

“Everybody loves getting back out here when the spring time turns and the fair kind of had a wonderful wave of weather this week," Warner said.

He also mentioned that every space on the fair ground was occupied as well as inside of the exhibition hall. All of the revenue generated from the fair will be donated to various organization across Southeast Texas.

Preparations are already underway for the 2020 YMBL South Texas State Fair.
