Police believe the seventh suspect is in Houston, and advise the public to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.

BEAUMONT, Texas — A seventh suspect is believed to be in Houston after police were led on two chases spanning three counties on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 10.

Six were taken into custody after the chases. The youngest suspect, a 16-year-old, was taken to Minnie Rogers Juvenile Justice Center.

Deputies and police have not caught the seventh suspect, but say they have "credible information" he is in Houston.

Detective Jared Dupre with the auto-theft task force told 12News the men are connected to at least 50 other cases, including auto-burglaries and thefts. The crimes date back to early 2018.
