ORANGE, Texas — Bus service in Orange County will start back up next month after being shut down because of the coronavirus.
Buses will start running again on June 1, 2020 according to a news release from the office of Orange County Judge John Gothia.
Passengers will have their temperature checked and must sanitize their hands and wear a mask prior to getting on the bus and during the ride according to the release.
Riders may start scheduling their June rides beginning at 9 a.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2020, the release said.

No cash will be accepted on the bus due to the exposure risk so passengers must purchase fares ahead of their trip.
Tickets are available for $10 for a book of $1 tickets and $20 for a book of $2 tickets the release said.

Orange County Transportation will resume Monday through Friday operations beginning June 1, 2020.

Citizens can begin scheduling rides at 9 am Tuesday, May 26th.
Due to the risk of exposure while handling money, passengers will be asked to purchase tickets in advance for future rides.
