BEAUMONT, Texas — Outback Steakhouse in Beaumont has set a date to reopen its doors after Imelda forced the restaurant to close.

A ribbon cutting will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 9 to celebrate its reopening.

Outback is located at 2060 I-10 S.

“We’re really excited to welcome the community back next month,” said Tifani Brown, Proprietor of Beaumont Outback Steakhouse. “We appreciate everyone’s patience the past few months while we made repairs and remodeled and we can’t wait for everyone to see our brand new look.”

Brown said the Outback staff has volunteered to help Imelda victims with local relief efforts while the restaurant has been closed due to the storm.
