FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- Nearly 20 miles of beaches separates the Atlantic Ocean from one of Florida’s fastest growing counties.

Flagler County has an estimated population of nearly 100,000 residents.

The only time the entire was required to evacuate was back in 1998 when wildfires threatened to destroy hundreds of homes.
