Crook Cam: Woman wanted for stealing another woman's purse out of car, withdrew money from bank account

Investigators caught the suspect on surveillance footage making withdrawals from another woman's bank account in both Beaumont and Vidor.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police fraud detectives are asking for the community's help to find a suspect withdrew funds from someone else's bank account. 

The victim reported that her vehicle was broken into on January 2, 2019 and her purse was stolen with her driver's license, credit cards and social security card, Detective Mary Kibodeaux said in a statement. MobileOil Credit Union notified her that a $500 withdrawal was made out of her bank account at a branch in Beaumont. A larger withdrawal was also made from a branch in Vidor. 

Surveillance video from the credit union showed a woman who appeared to be in her mid 30s with shoulder-length brown hair making the withdrawals. She was driving a dark-colored vehicle.
