BEVIL OAKS — After a power outage and water pressure drop, the city of Bevil Oaks was put on a boil-water notice, May 8.

The public water system has remedied the situation and announced that the water is safe for human consumption, according to a release sent out Monday.

Boil water notice rescinded for the City of Bevil Oaks on may 8, 2018.

Due to a power outage and water pressure drop, the water system, pws1230049, issued a boil water notice as a precaution on May 3, 2018. The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and will provide TECQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.
