BEAUMONT, Texas — Beaumont Police Department is looking for the drivers of two vehicles involved in a crash that left a bicyclist dead on May 24. 

The crash happened in the 3700 block of West Cardinal Dr. around, leaving 44-year-old Darrell Henderson dead.

He was pronounced dead on scene by Beaumont EMS. The first driver that hit Henderson stopped according to Beaumont Police. Investigators found that two additional drivers hit him but did not stop. 

One of the vehicles may be a Nissan Altima according to police. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Beaumont Police Traffic Division at (409)-980-7271.

Beaumont Police Traffic Investigators are looking for the drivers of two vehicles involved in this crash.

On Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:30 p.m., Beaumont Police responded to a major traffic crash in the 3700 block of West Cardinal Dr., Southbound. The investigation revealed a vehicle was traveling south bound in the left lane, when a bicyclist entered the roadway and was struck by the traveling vehicle. The bicyclist, identified as 44 year old Darrell Henderson, was pronounced deceased on scene by Beaumont EMS. The first driver that struck Henderson stopped. The investigation revealed two other vehicles struck Henderson but did not stop. Traffic investigators need to speak with those drivers. One of the vehicles may be a Nissan Altima.
