BEAUMONT — 13 students at Pathways Alternative Learning Center were treated for pepper spray exposure, according to Beaumont Fire Rescue.

Shadrick Williams, a student at Pathways Alternative Learning Center, says he was doing work when a fight took place between a group of girls. He says some students were sprayed in their mouths and eyes with the pepper spray.

"Like, it was one separate class, I was in the room just doing my work and out of no where a fight just broke out. They took some of the girls and put them in different separate rooms and the girls broke the windows and unlocked the doors so everybody could get out and fight again. They had a whole bunch of blood everywhere and everything," Williams said.

No students were transported to the hospital.
