Free one-day coronavirus testing sites open in Beaumont, Orange on Tuesday

Free testing is available but you must call ahead first for pre-screening and an appointment.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Free one-day mobile testing sites are available Tuesday in Orange and Beaumont for those wanting to be tested for the coronavirus.

Both locations will be collecting test samples starting at 9 a.m.

Residents must to call and make an appointment and be screened before being tested at either location.

Before being tested patients will be screened for symptoms that may include…

  • Fever and/or chills
  • Cough (Dry or productive)
  • Fatigue
  • Body Aches, muscle or joint pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore Throat
  • Headaches
  • Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
  • Nasal congestion
  • Loss of taste or smell

Here’s how and where to get tested…

BEAUMONT – TUESDAY 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

For the Tuesday testing site in Beaumont, which is being manned by the Texas National Guard, call 512-883-2400 or visit TxCovidTest.org.

After being screed you’ll be given an appointment time to visit the testing site at 747 College Street in Beaumont.

Test samples will be collected from 9 a.m. through 6 p.m.

Do not show up at the testing site without first calling for an appoint or you will not be able to be tested.

ORANGE – TUESDAY 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

For the Tuesday testing site in Orange, which is being manned by the Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center, call 409-550-2536.

After being screed you’ll be given an appointment time to visit the testing site at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center at 11475 FM 1442 in Orange.

Test samples will be collected from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m.

Do not show up at the testing site without first calling for an appoint or you will not be able to be tested.

PORT ARTHUR – WEDNESDAY 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Additionally there will also be a free one-day testing site operating in Port Arthur on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 beginning at 9 a.m.

For the Wednesday testing site in Port Arthur, which is also being manned by the Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center, call 409-550-2536.

After being screed you’ll be given an appointment time to visit the testing site at the Bob Bowers Civic Center at 3401 Cultural Drive in Port Arthur.

Test samples will be collected from 9 a.m. through 4 p.m.
