MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Shelby County Health Department reported 401 new cases and one new death Friday. That makes a total of 258,346 cases and 3,342 deaths in the county since the pandemic began.
There have been 574 active pediatric cases over the last 14-day period.
Beginning Friday, July 1, 2022, the Shelby County Health Department is moving to weekly reporting. The next update will be July 6, 2022.
Tennessee
The state of Tennessee reports an average of 2,233 new cases per day and 2 new deaths per day for the week of June 19 through June 25, 2022. There are a total of 2,114,472 cases and 26,631 deaths in the state since the start of the pandemic.
Mississippi
The state of Mississippi reports, as of June 30, 2022, a total of 836,757 cases and 12,526 deaths in the state since the beginning of the pandemic.
Arkansas
The Arkansas Department of Health said there were 6,516 new cases and 24 new deaths in the latest update, released on June 28, 2022. The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 862,823 and 11,574 total deaths.
