VIDOR, Texas — Students at Vidor Junior High School were briefly held in their classes Friday morning while a threat was investigated.
Vidor Police and the Vidor Independent School District investigated an online threat made by a minor toward a student at the school according to a news release from the district.
Students were held temporarily in their classes and the school was not put on lock-down due to the nature of the threat the release said.
The district said they took steps to ensure the safety of all students who are safe.
All Friday classes will be resuming the according to the news release.
