Two indicted on murder charges after Beaumont Bar 23 shooting that left one dead, two hurt

Joshua Barlow and Jaylan Thomas were indicted on murder charges on Wednesday according to court documents.

BEAUMONT, Texas — Two men have been indicted on murder charges after a March 17 shooting that left one man dead and two injured at a south end bar in Beaumont near Lamar University.

Joshua Barlow, 29, and Jaylan Thomas, 21, were indicted on murder charges on Wednesday according to court documents.

Quincy Davis, 36, was found dead at the scene when Beaumont Police officers arrived at the Bar 23 Social Lounge just before 2 a.m. on March 17 Officer Haley Morrow said in a previous news release. 

A witness at the scene told investigators a fight outside the club escalated to gunfire according to a probable cause affidavit.
