Three suspects wanted in Galveston County after a man was shot in his right arm

GALVESTON COUNTY — The Galveston County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a shooting in a rural area between Alvin and Santa Fe, Texas.

The shooting took place in the 18400 block of Elton Street in an unincorporated area of Galveston County at 4:10 p.m. on Thursday, January 3.

Officers arriving on scene found a 23-year old man with gunshot wounds to his right arm and shoulder. The man was transported to Clear Lake Regional Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Law enforcement have not been able to interview the victim at the time of the news release due to his injuries.

From the investigation so far, the Galveston County Sheriff's Office said three suspects, a woman and two men, fled in a gray or silver newer compact car.

Galveston County Criminal Investigators and the Galveston County Forensic Services Unit executed a search warrant at another residence on Elton Street later that evening looking for further evidence.
