SULPHUR, La. — A Sulphur man is accused of indecent behavior with a minor.
Edward Covert was arrested and charged with 'indecent behavior' with a juvenile Monday, July 15.
Detectives investigating found out that inappropriate sexual behavior allegedly happened between 13-year-old girl while she was asleep, Sulphur Police spokesperson Mel Estess said in a news release.
He was booked into the Sulphur City Jail, Estess said. Judge Canaday set his bond at $250,000. He has no prior criminal history, police said.
